Hauppauge, NY, March 3, 2016: Active Web Group, a leading digital agency and Long Island Web Development company headquartered in Hauppauge, NY, today announced that it is a 2016 recipient of the Long Island Business News’ First Annual Excellence in Communication Awards program.
Active Web is being recognized in the “Community Service Pro-Bono Web Team Category” for providing web design and online services to a local non-profit agency. Active Web has forged a long-time relationship with the agency, which provides lodging in a home atmosphere for the parents of seriously ill children undergoing treatment at Long Island hospitals. The digital agency’s award-winning design and web-development teams have built and maintained a website for the non-profit, and recently provided an updated site with a content management system so the client can make content changes at any time.
